The Upstate New York Eating Disorder Service
About The Upstate New York Eating Disorder Service
The Upstate New York Eating Disorder Service provides outpatient nutrition services for all ages, intensive outpatient treatment for those 16 and up, and partial hospitalization for adults. Those enrolled in its partial hospitalization program can stay at Upstate New York Eating Disorder Service's Hoffman House, which provides comfortable accommodations and support while the program is not in session. Patients benefit from a variety of eating disorder therapies and interventions led by an experienced clinical team. The goal is to support patients in achieving eating disorder recovery and to promote mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Upstate New York Eating Disorder Service also offers nutritional counseling and family and individual therapy. The service also includes experiential therapies like art therapy, poetry therapy, and yoga. The eating disorder treatment program is designed to help patients recognize triggers, address underlying issues and develop healthy eating patterns. All care is provided in a safe, supportive environment where respect and understanding are held as core values.
