INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM FOR EATING DISORDERS
Focus Integrative Centers provides comprehensive care for eating disorders within a safe and nurturing environment in Knoxville, Tennessee. Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is led by licensed, multidisciplinary clinicians and designed to integrate healing into daily life with minimal disruption.
Program elements include:
- Separate tracks for adults (18+) and adolescents (13+)
- Supportive, supervised meals during groups
- Individual meal planning and weekly sessions with a registered dietitian
- Nutrition education
- Separate programming for adults and adolescents
- Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Trauma-informed care
- Life skills and coping techniques
- Mindful body movement including yoga, meditation, and somatic experiencing
- Creative process and expressive therapies
- Family education and support
The IOP program is accredited by the Joint Commission and covered by most major insurance companies. Additionally, Focus Integrative Centers also provides outpatient therapy and personalized nutrition for support with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, mindfulness, autism, body image, meal planning, and many similar concerns.
