Exclusive Hawaii Rehab Eating Disorder Program
About Exclusive Hawaii Rehab Eating Disorder Program
Exclusive Hawaii Rehab is CARF accredited, licensed, and our staff is trained to treat disordered eating behaviors in our beautiful healing environment located on 30 acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our main focus is to treat the root cause of an eating disorder behavior. We create therapy to help the client experience connection and to calm their anxiety (nervous system), and to question their beliefs, opening up to the idea that they are loveable just the way they are without conditions and pressures.
Each client meets with our registered dietician. Together they set goals. We work on achieving these nutritional goals by addressing any negative mindset. Every time there is a breakthrough, we increase the goals to the next level.
We don't control what the person does or doesn't. Instead, we invite them to get to know their disordered eating behavior by using inquiry, narrative and mindfulness practices along with emotional release work (where the person learns to move from being in denial of their eating disorder to being conscious that the eating disorder is an attempt to regain their voice and self-worth).
In our holistic eating disorder facility, many types of experiential therapies are used. These therapies include realigning core beliefs, nature immersion, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive-behavioral interventions, Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
We are a 90-day program with a 30-day minimum.
