Bright Road Recovery
About Bright Road Recovery
Bright Road Recovery is the Inland Empire’s premier eating disorder recovery program.
Located in the Claremont Village, we help those in our community who are experiencing anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, OSFED, or ARFID, as well as the mental health and body image issues that accompany an eating disorder.
We understand that eating disorders affect the whole person and require treatment that supports healing in all aspects of each individual’s life. Our multidisciplinary team works with each patient to help them create a life that no longer includes an eating disorder.
We provide:
Telehealth Intensive Outpatient/Partial Hospitalization Program Intensive Outpatient Program Partial Hospitalization Program Residential Treatment Eating Disorder Assessments Individual & Group Therapy Family-Based Therapy (FBT) Nutritional Evaluation and Counseling Supported Meals and Meal Outings Mindfulness, Meditation and Yoga Therapy Art Therapy Online IOP & PHP
Bright Road Recovery’s telehealth intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs offer online access to a higher level of care treatment for patients who are unable to attend in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic, distance from our program, or their work or school schedule. As with our in-person IOP and PHP programs, telehealth makes step-down services available for patients who have successfully completed a higher level of care. Telehealth IOP and PHP are also appropriate for some patients who are starting their recovery.
Our online programs, like our in-person IOP and PHP, are structured to provide focused help. We also tailor aspects of the program in order to meet each patient’s specific needs. Most patients attend our 6-hour PHP 5 to 7 days per week, and our 3-hour IOP 3-5 days per week. And for those who live nearby, we are able to provide program meals.

Bright Road Recovery’s residential treatment program takes place in a comfortable home environment right here in Claremont. With round-the-clock care, our unique approach addresses trauma, attachment issues, and helps patients to develop and strengthen the skills to manage life’s challenges and stressors without turning to their eating disorder, while maintaining the continuity of their Bright Road Recovery team as patients step up or step down, depending upon their recovery needs.
We work closely with each patient’s outpatient team and referring professionals to ensure a smooth admission and discharge process and continuity of care.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) & Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our outpatient programs provide important intermediate levels of care when stepping down from higher levels of care.
Some patients also begin their recovery in our partial hospitalization program (PHHP) or intensive outpatient program (IOP).
PHP is appropriate for patients who are medically stable but need structure and support throughout the day to continue to improve and become ready to step down to lower levels of care. Most patients attend our 6-hour PHP 5 to 7 days per week.
Our FLEXIBLE PHP is designed specifically to help students stay in school while getting the additional care they need in terms of medical supervision, therapy, group, and meal support. Flexible PHP hours include group therapy and meal support as well as 3-4 additional hours of therapeutic treatment individually designed around each student’s scheduling and therapeutic needs.
IOP is appropriate for patients who are stable in their work or school environment but need structured or intensive treatment beyond outpatient psychotherapy in order to achieve their recovery goals.
In addition to insight-oriented therapy, our unique approach helps patients develop and strengthen the skills to manage life’s challenges and stressors so they will be ready to continue their recovery with the help of their outpatient therapist and team.
Our partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs are constructed for each patient according to their needs and may include any or all of the following:
individual therapy group therapy family therapy psychoeducation movement therapy art therapy trauma therapy nutritional counseling meal support case management.
The Bright Road Recovery treatment team will work with you to establish a program schedule to best support your recovery.
Bright Road Recovery Outpatient Psychotherapy
We know how important it is to find the right therapist.
We also know how hard it is to find someone to help you explore issues around food and feelings.
Our Clinical Therapists understand eating disorders and are skilled at helping clients work through these issues as well as other mental health, personal, relationship and family issues that can also accompany an eating disorder.
Nutritional Counseling with Registered Dietitian
Whether patients are stepping down from a higher level of care, exploring recovery for the first time, or just want to make changes to their diet to improve health or athletic performance, our Registered Dietitians will develop a personalized plan.
One-on-one sessions with our dietitians will allow patients to assess and address any nutritional issues they may have while collaborating with their individual therapist and medical doctor to help them stay on track.
Meal Support
This option offers a safe and comfortable space for patients to have meals with one of our staff who will ensure a balanced meal, as designed by our dietitian.
Along with individual therapy sessions with their established therapist, Meal Support is an important option for our clients who may need help following their meal plan.
Bright Road Recovery is accredited with the Joint Commission for all levels of treatment care, and is contracted with a number of insurance carriers.
Bright Road Recovery is also able to establish single case agreements with out of network carriers, including Kaiser Permanente. Call us at 855-943-2307 for an assessment and to get more information about starting or continuing your recovery with us!
